         The specific objectives of this contract are to:

         1) complement the existing knowledge on the ESIF 2014–2020 investments in the health sector and assess how the health investments contribute to implementing EU health policy goals as described in the ‘Guide for Health Investments under the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) 2014–2020’;

         2) further develop the capacities of the relevant actors in Member States and regions to support the effective and consistent implementation of ESIF for health with the ultimate purposes of improving the health status of the population and reducing health inequalities, with a special focus on vulnerable groups.
